Week Two.... Check!

Week two has come and gone!  And I managed to get everything done, plus a little extra and finish my tour of Sufferlandria!!

Monday:  Off Day-- I'm starting to get a little better with the days off. I don't love them, I don't know that I ever will. But I can maybe start to appreciate them a little better.

Tuesday: This was a hard one, mostly because I let myself sleep in.  I don't know if it's the new training schedule, but I haven't been sleeping as well.  Tuesday required then an hour bike, followed by an immediate 40 minute brick run.  I did my Sufferlandria video as the bike after work, and then because it was almost 8pm, went to the dreadmill at my apartment complex.  At least This is Us was on to keep me company.  So good!

Wend:  This day thoroughly kicked my butt.  So coach had planned a 3,000 yard swim, and a 40 minute Z2 run.  But then I'm also doing sufferland videos, so that required me to ride for another hour.  So I swam before work, ran at lunch time, went to a client event at Kendra Scott jewelry, got home at 8pm and got on the bike.  Brutal!

This was my gym bag for Wend. Swimming, running, and work clothes! I'm turning into an excellent sherpa.

Thur:  I love my spin class at my gym and I just can't give it up every single day of the week.  So I went and rode spin class in Z2, and then came home after work and did my coach's bike workout combined with a sufferfest video.

My indoor trainer set up with Sufferfest videos on the ipad.  Spent alot of time here this week!

Fri: So I was bad and didn't get up in the morning for my swim.  Which I knew meant that I would have to swim and bike after work.  I wasn't looking forward to that.  But I caught a break, because my boss played hookie for the day.  So I was able to leave the office at about 2:30, get a swim in (in a totally empty pool too!), and then go home and do my sufferland video!  Woot woot!

Saturday:  2:12 minute sufferfest video, followed by an immediate 30 minute brick run.  The run was supposed to be in Z3 for the first 20 minutes.  I thought that would be fantastic after being forced in Z2 for all my runs lately.  But I found that it was really hard to get my HR in just that right Z3 range.

Sunday:  2:33 minute sufferfest video to complete my tour!!

So grand total for the week: 
Swimming: 1:44, 7,000 yards
Running: 1:57, 8.85 miles
Biking: 10:11, 212 miles (I think Sufferlandria over estimates a bit)

For the entire sufferfest tour--9 days, 9 different videos, I did: 241 miles, 12 hours on the trainer!


This week looks like this:

Monday:  rest day
Tuesday; 40 minute easy run, 1 hour swim
Wend: 1:15 minute bike (some VO2 max effort too!)
Thur: 1 hour run, 1 hour bike, 45 minute swim
Fri: 1 hour swim
Saturday: 2:30 bike, 10 minute brick run
Sunday: 1:10 run

This week has a lot of efforts that are not Z2, which has me excited!  Thursday is going to be a hard one to pull off though, doing that much and working!
