First month... Check!
4 weeks down... 37 to go! Ok, maybe I shouldn't think about it quite like that.
This week was harder than I had anticipated it being. Coach gave me some "easy" workouts, but by the end of the week, I was pretty worn out, and should have spent more time relaxing on the couch, but I made my weekend with various different things.
Monday: I took the day off from work, and "made up a run" that I should have done on Sunday, but went out on my bike instead. It was "just an easy" 1:10 minute run, got just over 5 miles done. It was supposed to be a rest day, and in retrospect, I maybe needed the rest, but too late to change things now.
Tuesday: 30 minute easy run, that I did over my lunch break, and then swam 2,000 yards after work.
Wend: Day off. It was a little hard for me to actually take a day off. I got stuck late at work though, so that made it a little easier.
Thur: 1 hour spin, which I did by going to my spin class.
Friday: 2,200 yard swim. I was supposed to do this in the morning before work, but I totally slept through my alarm. Managed to get it in after work before going to a wine party at a friends.
Saturday: 2:20 spin, followed by a 20 minute brick run. Got this done on the trainer because we've got another cold spell in Denver.
Sunday: 1:15 minute run. I set my alarm to get up and try and get the run done before I had brunch for a friends bday and a massage, but it was like 18 degrees outside, and I just couldn't do it. So I put it off until about 4pm when I got home from brunch/massage/grocery shopping. It was the last thing I wanted to do, but I wanted to get it done! It meant I finished all my planned training for the week, which I really wanted to accomplish.
I've been trying to eat a little healthier. Those are a couple of things that I made for the week. A big salad with flank steak, and a spicy shrimp stack. Both were delicious, though when you carry the shrimp stacks to work, they become less stacks, and just like a shrimp bowl. But still good!
Next week:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 1:15 bike, 20 min brick run
Wend: 1 hour swim, 1:05 min run
Thur: 1 hr spin
Friday: 30 min run, 1 hr swim
Saturday: 1:20 minute swim with Boulders master group + 1:20 run
Sunday: 3:30 bike (hopefully outside!)

This "lake" is in the middle of my apartment complex. I'm incredibly lucky to get to run around it all the time.
Been experimenting with different nutrition for the bike. Today it was skratch cookie mix with blueberries and chocolates, made into "muffins" and skratch drink.
After training was over, I went up to grab my road bike from getting a tune up, met a friend for lunch, and then went and watched roller derby. Watching roller derby meant sitting on bleacher seats with no back for a couple of hours. My back is now killing me :(
